1. Take your shoes off
Shoes and socks are not worn in yoga. Prepare to remove your shoes at the door and stow them away in spaces provided.
2. Be on time
If you are running late, come in quietly and settle in. If you are more than 10 minutes late, and have missed the warm up, you will be asked, for your own safety, to come back another time.
3. Be quiet
Be respectful of the teacher and the other students in the room. Yoga is a mind body practice and unnecessary talking is disruptive.
4. No cell phones
Please leave your cell phone in the car or turn it off during class.
5. Be neat
Be aware of other space around you and keep your props near your own mat. Put your props away neatly after class.
6. No heavy perfume
Yoga is a close practice and some people are very sensitive to heavy scents, which become even more intense as the body gets warm.
7. Plan to stay for the entire class
Leaving early is disruptive to those around you. If you must leave early let the instructor know before class so she can plan the class accordingly.
8. Be respectful of other’s mats
Please take care not to walk on top of other students mats.
